Corbeau Creek is more than an event venue; it’s a story that spans generations. Originally settled by German immigrants in the late 1800s, the land became known locally as “the old Beck place.” In 1976, Mike Waller purchased the property, renaming it Crow Creek Ranch and transforming it into a family home. Over the years, he rebuilt and relocated structures, restored the barn, expanded the homestead, and preserved historic features like the Beck family’s original barbecue pit.
In 2021, the next chapter began when his daughter Rachel, along with siblings Jessie and Jodie, reimagined the property as a place for others to gather and celebrate. With their combined backgrounds in food, hospitality, and property management, the family launched Corbeau Creek Ranch — a name honoring Louisiana’s French heritage while preserving the legacy of the land.
Today, Corbeau Creek spans 42 acres of gardens, ponds, walking paths, and restored historic buildings. Each event held here is not just a celebration, but a continuation of the story that started over a century ago.
